Every piece leaves the Brea, California studio hand-packed and fully insured. Because each portrait and painting is made to order, here is exactly what to expect from the moment you order to the day your art arrives at your door.

Processing & production time
Everything sold here is created individually rather than pulled from a shelf. Custom pet portraits and original paintings are commissioned through the Shopify checkout, and each takes roughly 4–6 weeks to paint, varnish, and cure before it can travel. I'll keep you updated throughout, and the piece is only packed and shipped once the paint is fully set.
Any ready-to-ship item — such as an available original or a print — is packed and handed to the carrier within 2–4 business days of your order. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as the label is created.
Carriers & tracking
Orders ship via USPS or UPS, chosen for the size and value of each piece. Labels are purchased through Pirate Ship, so every shipment includes end-to-end tracking at no extra cost to you.
Once your order ships, a confirmation email with tracking is sent automatically. Typical transit time within the continental U.S. is 2–5 business days after the piece leaves the studio.
Packaging
Original paintings and portraits are corner-protected, wrapped in glassine and rigid board, and crated or double-boxed for the journey. Prints ship flat or rolled in a protective tube depending on size. Each piece arrives with a certificate of authenticity, ready to frame or hang.
Insurance
Commissioned portraits and original paintings include full shipping insurance for their purchase value at no additional charge. This means that in the rare event a piece is lost or damaged in transit, it is protected and can be made right.
Shipping rates & free shipping
Insured shipping is included in the price of every commissioned portrait and original painting — there is nothing extra to pay at checkout. For any other item, calculated shipping is shown at checkout before you pay, based on the destination and package size.
Where I ship
I ship nationwide across the United States, and worldwide for commissioned work. International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees set by the destination country. These are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in your order total.
International transit times vary by destination and customs processing, typically 1–3 weeks once a piece leaves the studio.
If your order arrives damaged or is lost
Please inspect your piece as soon as it arrives. If anything looks amiss, hold on to all of the original packaging and email me within 7 days of delivery with photos of the artwork and the box. Because each shipment is insured, I'll open a claim and work with you on a repair, replacement, or refund. If tracking stalls or a package appears lost, reach out and I'll trace it with the carrier right away.
Shipping address
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If you spot a mistake, email me as soon as possible — I can update it before the label is printed. I can't be responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided at checkout.
